Key takeaways from Acumatica Ascend 2026, including Beacon, AI Assistant, AI Studio, Voice AI, and what’s coming in Acumatica 2026 R2.

Last week, CyberCore attended Acumatica Ascend 2026 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center in Colorado, a partner-only conference built around smaller group sessions, roundtables, and direct discussions with Acumatica partners, senior management, VPs, and CEO John Case.
One of the strongest themes throughout the week was where ERP is heading.
For years, ERP systems have primarily been systems of record — the place where companies store transactions, customers, inventory, orders, financials, and operational data.
That is changing.
The next stage is the system of intelligence: ERP that helps users understand their data, answers questions, identifies what needs attention, and increasingly helps perform the work itself.
Here are a few of the developments we think Acumatica customers should be watching.
Acumatica recently introduced Beacon, a central location for product documentation, release information, training materials, known issues, videos, and other Acumatica knowledge.
Beacon also includes AI-powered search, making it easier for users to ask a question and quickly find relevant information instead of searching through multiple resources.

Acumatica’s AI Assistant brings conversational AI directly into Acumatica ERP.
Instead of always creating a report or Generic Inquiry, users can increasingly ask questions about their business in plain language.
For example:
With Acumatica 2026 R2, Acumatica is also expanding AI-powered product help designed to assist users while they are working in the system.
Imagine being able to ask:
“I entered this transaction incorrectly and need to reverse it. What is the proper way to correct it from this screen?”
Rather than searching documentation or asking another user for help, the goal is for Acumatica to increasingly guide users through the proper process while they work.
The direction is clear: ERP will increasingly help users understand both what is happening in their business and how to complete the work in the system.

AI Studio takes this a step further.
Rather than simply asking questions, AI Studio gives companies and Acumatica partners the ability to create controlled AI-driven workflows around specific business processes.
Depending on the organization, this could include areas such as:
The key will be applying AI where it solves a real business problem rather than adding AI simply because it is available.
This is also an important milestone for us at CyberCore.
After nearly two years of development, we introduced our Voice AI Employee last week and began signing on other Acumatica partners so they can offer the technology to their own customers.
Our proprietary technology, developed by our team, is now running within organizations ranging from LegalZoom and 1-800Accountant to longtime CyberCore clients such as Deco Lighting.
Our Voice AI Employee acts as a voice AI layer that sits directly on top of the Acumatica stack.
Customers can have a natural phone conversation while the AI works with information and processes inside Acumatica.
Depending on the business, it can:
And it works both inbound and outbound.
The best way to understand what a Voice AI Employee can do is to speak with one.

The demo is based on one of our longtime clients, Deco Lighting, and you can interact with it just as a customer would.
We also plan to make the CyberCore Voice AI Employee available through the Acumatica Marketplace.
Acumatica will officially present Acumatica 2026 R2 on October 1, 2026 during its virtual launch event.
If you use Acumatica — or are considering Acumatica ERP — this is a good opportunity to see the upcoming features, AI capabilities, and product direction.

Ascend reinforced something we have believed for some time: AI will increasingly become part of how users interact with ERP, find information, make decisions, and complete everyday work.
For Acumatica customers, that creates opportunities across distribution, manufacturing, inventory management, sales, purchasing, customer service, finance, and other business operations.
At CyberCore, our focus is on identifying where these new tools can actually save time, improve accuracy, and make everyday work easier.
And with Acumatica moving from a system of record toward a system of intelligence, we believe the next few years will bring some of the biggest changes ERP users have seen in a long time.
